At Fanie's Fishroom, we do our very best to ensure that all livestock are healthy and without defects prior to shipping. We want to ensure that our customers receive the finest quality aquatic livestock. For this reason we ONLY ship livestock on Mondays - Wednesday to outlaying areas. Local area deliveries are covered under "same day" delivery option by The Courier Guy.
In the event that you suffered a loss during transit, notify us within 30 minutes after you received and opened the box.
To submit a DOA claim a Video with the dead fish in the sealed bag is required; NO VIDEO, NO CLAIM.
Once the bag is opened, the DOA policy is void.
Reasons that can void DOA policy:
- Parcel not accepted at first delivery attempt
- Client arranged their own transportation
- Parcel requested for delivery against Fanie's Fishroom advice, for whatever reason it may be.
When is the DOA policy not valid:
- Once the livestock is released into the customers tank
- If a bag is opened without proof of death
