To breed Vietnamese lizard loaches (Hillstream loaches), provide a tank with high oxygen, strong water flow, and plenty of flat rocks and driftwood for grazing and spawning, mimicking their natural fast-flowing stream environment. Aim for temperatures around 22-28°C and a pH of about 7.2. Provide supplemental food like sinking pellets, algae wafers, and blanched vegetables. The breeding process involves a male chasing a female, followed by open-water spawning with eggs falling to the substrate to hatch.
