The Salween Rock Catfish is native to Southeast Asia fast flowing rivers. They are known for their tranquil demeanor and ease of care, often spend their time hiding beneath the substrate or in caves. Optimal tank mates include species such as Danios, Rasboras, Devarios and loaches. It is however advised to select bottom dwelling fishes with caution as to prevent the catfish competing for food.
