The rubber lip pleco is a freshwater fish that many aquarists don’t know much about. In fact, when you look around online there aren’t any comprehensive resources available on them! One of the main reasons for this is that most fishkeepers flock to their relative, the bristlenose pleco. This is something we’ve never really understood because the rubber lip pleco is just as easy to care for and looks fairly similar.
